St. Mark ESL program in Vienna is seeking new volunteers for Fall 2008 to staff its ESL/basic computer skills program. This program helps hundreds of immigrants to the community to improve their English language skills and to adjust to life in Northern Virginia. Volunteers are needed to provide child care, teach, and assist in the classrooms as well as to help with administration and publicity. No foreign language skills are necessary. Volunteers generally work one evening a week (Tuesday or Thursday). For more information or to volunteer, email: esl_express@yahoo.com
