Summer Fun for Kids

By sonderdonk

Want to travel back in time? Then bring your child to Jerusalem Marketplace, a fun, hands-on village set up at St. Barnabas' Episcopal Church June 22-26. Each evening your child can become part of history as we see, hear, touch, and even taste what it was like to live in the Jerusalem of Jesus' lifetime! Children will belong to a tribe with adult leaders and visit the marketplace, go to "school", play on the playground and witness a drama every night. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m., the program is from 6:30-8:30. We're even having live animals! Children 3 years old and up are welcome, free of charge. St. Barnabas Church is located at 4801 Ravensworth Rd., Annandale. To register call 703 941-2922.
