Pets at The Homestead. The Homestead in Hot Springs in Virginia's Allegheny Mountains has a new pet-friendly policy. Two pets 40 pounds or less are allowed per room. The cost is $50 per pet per night. Dogs and cats and their owners stay in the Garden Wing, in rooms overlooking a stretch of lawn designated for pet play.
